Harewood House

As we had no guests booked in this weekend Saturday was spent doing very little so Sunday Steve and I decided to have a day out so went to Harewood House. Took masses of photos and in spite of continual drizzle all day I am pretty pleased with them. Will post them over the course of the week as I took rather a lot! These first ones show the front of the house, isn't it fantastic - the house not the photo! And then we walked round to the back of the house and the terrace over looking the estate. The gardens here were laid out by Capability Brown and were absolutely stunning although a lot of the tulips had gone over. We had lunch in the terrace cafe, the cafe was beautiful and the lunch wonderful, a real treat. Lunch photos on next post.
